SunrizerXS synth App Reviews

Wont even open anymore on my iPhone 6 Plus with iOS 8.1.3. Please fix this ASAP.

this was the first "real" synth app I purchased on on my iPad (4th gen retina) that I still use today. I held out on this version for the iPhone simply for the point of redundancy and storage (16G iPhone5s) but with animoog for iPhone & Modular, my phones core midi was getting a bit lonely ... plus Im not one to use presets and Ive spent lots of time making my own on the iPad - might as well use them across all devices, right? well ... wrong. kind of. Background Audio does not work on my iPhone5s nor does it send or receive midi on ANY channel. Im not sure I want to reset my phone for just this reason, but Im at a loss. Ive tried everything I can think of (including the recent update for animoog which sounded like the culprit, but nope). gotta get this figured out and 5 stars it is.

I had a Korg MS2000 back in the day... This sounds better. It is simply astounding to hear how far iOS music apps have come. This doesnt sound like some half-way decent, toy pocket synth. It sounds like a full, powerful, "take me seriously" synth that can rival a lot of the hardware synths out there costing 100s and even 1000s more. Im using sunrizerxs on my iPhone connected to a MIDI keyboard on stage for live shows! Im blown away.....

The synth is awesome, very cool sounds and very easy to understand. Finally found something to replace alchemy. I need some help though. I use this with GarageBand, and I can switch from GarageBand to sunrizer with the inter app option, but once it takes me to sunrizer the GarageBand box doesnt pop up for me to stop/play/record or switch back. Any suggestions?

Im on an iPhone 6s Plus. I wouldnt trust this for performance as it seems to randomly crash. Even certain built in presets crash the app when you click on them. The sounds are nice but its just not reliable which is what I need.

Other than that its great.

iOS 9.2.1 iPhone 6s. Its an amazing synth app, but I play few notes and it just quits. Bam. Home screen.

Sunrizer is one of the most warm and analog sounding synths apps out there. At to that the in depth arpeggiator and good price tag and you have a pretty much flawless app. Wish theyd update it to the ipad version for newer iphones since they could easily port it and the newer phones would run it flawlessly

The background audio button keeps blinking but doesnt actually work, so when you minimize the app, that beautiful chord you wanted to sustain over disappears...

Sounds great, but as others have pointed out, background audio does not work (button just blinks). Universal app, virtual MIDI ports and MIDI Clock receive (and/or Ableton Link) would be welcome additions also!

On a 6s it frequently crashes. The background audio button is broken. You have to load it into an Audiobus input slot to force the background audio on
