If youre like a lot of "serious" iOS musicians, youll want to check this one out! You cant get hardware synths so cheap!

SunrizerXS is pretty much everything I was looking for in a mobile synth. Easy interface, great sound (for iPhone at least) and most of all, an arpeggiator sequencer. The main reason I bought this honestly was because of the step sequencer, since I’m no good tiptoeing around a keyboard I love to build sequences. Obviously the sequencer is limited to just building simple patterns but due to audiobus support you can easily track them out into Beatmaker 2, or just sample them on something else (like my MPC500) The interface functions just like any subtractive synthesizer. If you’ve used one before it’s not hard to figure out. If you haven’t then this is a pretty good place to start honestly. You really can’t go wrong with this app. At this price you have very little to lose and a lot to gain

I am a country music songwriter and was needing some new sounds for new music and have to say this has brought a lot of ideals to mind with so many different sounds and speed control I give it a 10 + stars

Stop reading and buy this app. The one person whining "it was small on my cell phone" is just that. Im using it and its fantastic. I feel its more responsive that Garageband concerning the touchscreen. It sounds totally yummy in headphones, I cant wait to plug it in. For $3, it kills the hundreds I spend in the 90s getting good sounds from my keyboards. This app does not sound cheezy.

Great filters, rich oscillators, great effects and just enough tweakability and control. In need of an update (happy to pay again!) but easily my favorite VA on iOS. If a friend told me they wanted to get a virtual analog hardware synth, Id try to convince him to instead get a used iPod touch, a MIDI keyboard and Sunrizer. It would like eat most hardware VAs its price range! (Plus, they could also play Animoog occasionally for a few bucks more vs another hardware synth... ;)

i love this synth so much, i only wish i had an ipad instead of a tiny ipod.. But i would pay good money for a hardware version of this!

Amazing app, has tons of great effects and a wide range of flexible tones. Only problem I have is that it WILL NOT run on iOS 8, and it doesnt look like updates are coming anytime soon. Dont buy unless you are running an old iOS version

Im on iPhone 5s and this nifty synth is almost a must have please update for iOS 8 will not load for me :(((

One of my favorite apps, but since updating to iOS 8, it doesnt work with audiobus. Must fix.

Looks great. Crashes at launch though with iPhone 6 / iOS 8, so I cant really tell :(

Bought because I love the iPad version of Sunriser, but after downloading the app launches, shows the startup screen, then immediately folds in a crash. Subsequent launches crash the app, even after clearing it from RAM. I would love to use this to muck around with and jam on the fly, but I cant do anything with this synth as it is.

One of the first and still going strong. Brings the best of iPads synths to iPhone and iPod.

Sunrizer is one of the best-sounding synths available. Possibilities for modulation are extensive, the arp is awesome and the sounds are rich. In the early 80s I dreamed of synths that would fit in my pocket- now a reality.

Great synth!! Lots of adjusting presets! LFO Oscilators, you name it!!

For just under 3 bucks, you can make your phone sound like that $1,000 synth you were getting ready to buy. Ive played a LOT of synths in my time, both software and hardware. This ones for REAL.

The only thing I have a problem with is the ITunes capability. Because of the newest current update, you cant see or scroll down to actually POST your song that you want to post! It drives me nuts! Please fix this bug..
